Each year we like to take this special time to focus on more than just receiving and make what’s precious to God, precious to us. One of the ways we do this is through our giving. For this year’s Christmas offering, our goal is to rally together to support our international missions partner, Plants & Pillars as well as complete the exterior renovation of the Poindexter Campus to continue to impact our community.

Plants & Pillars

Located in Querétaro, Mexico, friends of Word of Life, Brian and Natalia Butler, have instituted a missions organization to reach the lost. Plants & Pillars is dedicated to planting churches and schools in Latin America that become pillars of faith and education in their communities.

Embracing their new chapter in Mexico, Brian and Natalia have found the perfect place to ignite their vision. This space isn’t just a location; it’s a launchpad for change, a sanctuary of learning, and a haven for spiritual growth. With your unwavering support, we aim to set the stage for transformation, by securing the necessary funds to lease the facility for 2024. Your contribution will pave the way for a dynamic educational hub where students can thrive throughout the week on the upper floors, while the ground level becomes a space for communal worship every weekend.

Poindexter Campus

We are one church with multiple campuses with one goal in mind – to reach the lost. This year for our Big Give we want to join together to renovate the exterior of our Poindexter campus so we can further reach the Jackson area for His kingdom. We know that God looks at the heart, but man looks at the outward appearance and while we have completely renovated the sanctuary of this campus, the exterior could truly use an upgrade to better attract the lost.

We believe that this renovation will not only enhance the appearance of our church but also contribute to the growth of our congregation and our ability to serve the community as it is another reminder that we are firmly planted here and our heart is for Jackson!

With the goal of renovating Poindexter and securing the building and launch of Plants & Pillars, we have set a goal of $130,000. If 1,300 people committed to giving $100, this goal would be achieved by the end of this year!

Poindexter Exterior Renovation: We are excited to announce the recent launch of our Poindexter Campus and the complete remodeling of our sanctuary. This has been a significant undertaking, and we are grateful for your support in making it a reality. However, we are not done yet. We now need to focus our efforts on renovating the exterior of our building. We believe that this renovation will not only enhance the appearance of our church but also contribute to the growth of our congregation and our ability to serve the community as it is another reminder that we are firmly planted here and our heart is for Jackson!
